The new E63 is said to be the baby brother of the popular E71 model. The E63 sports the same candy bar QWERTY form factor as the E71, but uses a 2.0MP camera instead of the 3.2mp shooter featured in the E71. The handset includes Wi-Fi, a 369MHz processor, and a 3.5mm audio jack for use with standard headphones. The phone can be purchased online today through a variety of retail sources for around $350.  Although it is not as powerful as it’s big brother,  the new E63 is a definite cost efficient upgrade for those looking to replace their old E61/E62/E61i. Recently we added hundreds of Blu-ray and video game titles to our ever-growing catalog, and people have been responding.

How do we know what to add to our catalog?  Well, in this case it’s simple.  Blu-ray disc sales climbed to an all time high with the release of “The Dark Knight” this week. The Batman sequel apparently sold 600,000 Blu-ray copies on its release day this Tuesday, beating the previous record of 260,000 set by Iron Man over a month ago. Consumer research this year puts Blu-ray as one of the most highly requested holiday gifts among HDTV owners.

Lots of people buying Blu-ray discs today means they’ll be looking for an outlet once they’ve memorized all the lines in a few months.

Now, consider that analysts predict a 76% surge in Blu-ray player sales during 2009 and you don’t have to be Nostradamus to guess the next category addition on Gazelle…

The N97 is Nokia’s second Symbian S60 Touchscreen UI phone following the recently released Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Nokia have labeled the new N97 as “the world’s most advanced mobile computer”.  The Finnish giants will have a lot to live up to as this will compete heavily with the plethora of touchscreen phones that have been recently released.

Now on to the important stuff… the specs:

  • 48gb of storage! (32gb internal + 16gb additional external)
  • 3G
  • Wi-Fi
  • 3.5″, 640 x 360 resistive touch screen
  • Full QWERTY keypad

The new 3.2″ touchscreen display sports an optical mouse navigation system which allows you to navigate smoothly and quickly while on the web. The Storm is the most anticipated BlackBerry ever as it competes directly against the Apple iPhone. Verizon stores around the country drew in massive lines this morning as early as 5:00AM. The Verizon store in Manhattan claims it sold all 60 handsets with in minutes of opening the doors. Customers reportedly “stormed” in at lunch time just to get their hands on the demo so they could get a feel for the new interface. Verizon is keen on regaining lost customers that opted to skip over to the iPhone/AT&T team over the past 2 years. The Storm also features a new SurePress touchscreen keypad with a multi-tap QWERTY layout. The screen has an impressive 480×360 full color crystal clear display. It sports 1GB of on-board memory with the option for expansion through a microSD slot. The device also supports a variety of network options as it is both GSM and CDMA capable (big plus for world travelers). One massive downside is the lack of internal WiFi. Verizon is making it clear that they want you on “The Network” with an additional monthly data plan. You can pick up the Storm now for $199.99 with a 2 year contract (if you can find it).
